Refund policy

At Marine Sea Moss, we take pride in the quality of our products. Because our products are natural food ingredients, we maintain strict safety and hygiene protocols regarding returns.

1. Sea Moss Gels (Perishable Goods) Our Sea Moss Gels are fresh, natural products made without artificial preservatives.

No Returns: Due to their perishable nature and food-safety regulations, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for Sea Moss Gels once delivered.

Cancellations: Orders for gels can only be cancelled before production has begun.

2. Raw Dried Sea Moss, Powder and Capsules (Dry Products)

Eligibility: Returns and exchanges are accepted for unopened products with the original tamper-evident seal 100% intact.

Timeframe: You have 7 days from the date of delivery to initiate a return or exchange for unopened dry goods.

Exchanges: We accept exchanges for unopened dry goods within 7 days of delivery, subject to product availability.

Exclusions: Once the safety seal is broken, the product is no longer eligible for return, exchange, or refund.

3. Damaged or Defective Items

Reporting: Email orders@marineseamoss.co.za within 48 hours of receiving your package.

Evidence: Include your order number and clear photographs of the damaged item and packaging.

Resolution: Verified damaged or defective items will be replaced or refunded in full at no additional cost.

4. Return Shipping

Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return courier costs. Use a trackable service.

Incorrect/Faulty Items: Marine Sea Moss covers all collection and redelivery costs.

5. Refund Processing Approved refunds are processed via your original payment method within 7–10 business days.

6. Storage & Handling Refunds will not be issued for spoilage caused by improper storage. Keep Gel cold on arrival. Store frozen for up to 6 months, following the stamped FROZEN BB date, or thaw in the refrigerator for use. Once thawed and opened, keep refrigerated in the glass jar and consume within 3–4 weeks of opening. Do not leave Gel at room temperature. Raw Dried Sea Moss, Powder and Capsules must be stored in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture, with packaging tightly closed. Do not refrigerate the dry products.
